De HPE ProLiant XL230k Gen10-server levert extreme rekenprestaties met behulp van toonaangevende technologie die nodig is om complexe HPC-workloads aan te kunnen. Deze server maakt gebruik van de nieuwste geselecteerde Intel Xeon Gold- en Platinum-serie processors met ondersteuning voor DDR4 2933 MT/s HPE SmartMemory.

Het nieuwe modulaire, volledig geïntegreerde en zeer flexibele HPE Apollo k6000-chassis biedt plaats aan maximaal 24 XL230k-servertrays, ethernet en high-speed fabric-switches om tegemoet te komen aan verschillende HPC-workloadbehoeften. Het Apollo k6000-systeem is een prestatiegeoptimaliseerde, luchtgekoelde oplossing. Deze oplossing biedt uitstekende configuratieflexibiliteit, redundante voeding, vereenvoudigd beheer en efficiëntie op rackschaal, waardoor de totale eigendomskosten die nodig zijn voor HPC-implementaties op grote schaal worden verlaagd.

HPE Apollo k6000-chassis

Het HPE Apollo k6000-chassis is ontworpen met dichtheidsoptimalisatie en HPC-oplossingsintegratie in het achterhoofd om u te helpen bij het beheren en schalen naar uw HPC-computerbehoeften. Het nieuwe modulaire HPE Apollo k6000-chassis is ontworpen om de volgende generatie rekenservers te bevatten die passen bij uw specifieke HPC-workloads.

Het nieuwe modulaire, volledig geïntegreerde en zeer flexibele HPE Apollo k6000-chassis biedt plaats aan maximaal 24 XL230k-servertrays, redundante voeding en koeling, ethernet en high-speed fabric-switches om aan verschillende HPC-workloadbehoeften te voldoen. Het Apollo k6000-systeem is een prestatiegeoptimaliseerde, luchtgekoelde oplossing die past in de ruimtebeperkingen van de klant. Deze oplossing biedt uitstekende configuratieflexibiliteit, vereenvoudigd beheer en efficiëntie op rackschaal, waardoor de totale eigendomskosten die nodig zijn voor HPC-implementaties op grote schaal worden verlaagd.

De problemen met de koeling worden verminderd door 12 hot-pluggable ventilatoren met dubbele rotor, terwijl het chassisvermogen kan worden beheerd door HPE Chassis Controller of verbeterd (vereenvoudigd) met optionele HPE Apollo Platform Manager (APM) die granulaire vermogensregeling op rackniveau mogelijk maakt.

Standaard functies

  • Elk HPE Apollo k6000-chassis kan volledig worden geconfigureerd met het volgende:
  • Tot 24 single-slot servertrays per 12U luchtgekoeld chassis.
  • Optioneel 24 externe PCIe I/0-modulesleuven (optioneel alleen met dubbele rotorventilatoren).
  • Tot zes (6) voedingen van 2650 W die tot 15.900 W vermogen leveren per chassis (14 kW bruikbaar wanneer vermogensbeperking is
    ingeschakeld)
  • Of tot zes (6) voedingen van 3400 W die tot 20.400 W vermogen leveren per chassis (19 kW bruikbaar bij vermogensaftopping
    is ingeschakeld)
  • HPE Chassis Controller bevat de thermische logische technologie voor een lager stroomverbruik en een lagere luchtstroom wanneer nodes volledig worden benut.
  • Twaalf (12) ventilatorsystemen met dubbele rotor voor redundantie, verbeterd stroomverbruik en akoestiek.
  • Voorzijde 4 hot-swappable ventilatoren voor thermische koeling voor geïntegreerde schakelaars
  • Systeemventilatoren: het chassis ondersteunt 12 ventilatormodules met dubbele rotor en 4 hot-pluggable ventilatoren aan de voorkant om lucht naar schakelposities te leiden.

  • Servicekit: HPE Apollo 6000 chassisservicekit
  • Vereisten voor rekluchtstroom: De toenemende kracht van nieuwe krachtige processortechnologie vereist een grotere koelefficiëntie voor in een rek gemonteerde servers. Voor maximale koeling worden HPE-racks aanbevolen, zodat deze racks volledig kunnen worden geladen met servers die gebruikmaken van de nieuwste processors.

Memory Protection

Advanced ECC Detects and corrects multi-bit memory errors. Advanced ECC can detect and correct up to 4-bit memory errors if all failed bits are on the same 4-bit DRAM device on the DIMM, thus enabling continued memory operation.

Online Spare with Advanced ECC Support
Provides protection against persistent DRAM failure. A rank that is starting to degrade making it more likely to receive a fatal/uncorrectable memory error is automatically removed from operation, swapping operation to the spare, thus resulting in less system downtime.

Memory Mirroring with Advanced ECC Support
Provides protection against uncorrectable memory errors that would otherwise result in system failure. In this mode, the system maintains two copies of all data. If an uncorrectable memory error occurs, the system automatically retrieves the good data from the mirrored (redundant) copy.

Use this option to select from the available Memory Mirroring modes.

  • Full Mirror - reserves 50% of the total available memory for mirroring.
  • Partial Mirror (20% above 4GB) - reserves 20% of the total available Memory above 4GB for Mirroring.
  • Partial Mirror (10% above 4GB) - reserves 10% of the total available Memory above 4GB for Mirroring.
  • Partial Mirror (Memory below 4GB) - depending on the memory configuration, sets up 2GB or 3GB of lower memory
    below 4GB for Mirroring.
  • Partial Mirror (OS Configured) - sets up the system to configure Partial Mirroring at OS level.

HPE Fast Fault Tolerance
Fault Tolerant Advanced Double Device Data Correction (ADDDC) enables the system to correct memory errors and continue to operate in cases of multiple DRAM device failures on a DIMM. This provides protection against uncorrectable memory errors beyond what is available with Advanced ECC.
